Our Work

General Donation

Support our life-changing work. Now is the time to act. Donations of any amount are welcome. Your generosity is what enables us to deliver life-transforming services to the poorest areas of our planet.

Mentor a Child

A Mentor agrees to pay School Tuition Expenses and Living Expenses for a year for the child! Becoming a mentor means giving children the chance to grow up safe, educated and empowered – forever changing their life and future.  GGI does not give your donation directly to your sponsored child. Part of the donation is paid to the school for the sponsored child's school expenses. The remaining amount is applied as a monthly grant towards living expenses and medical care of the sponsored child.

Your grant covers School Tuition, Books, Uniforms, Shoes, Transportation, Copying, Printing, etc. (paid directly to the school) as well as the child's medical and food expenses for the school year. The mentor receives regular updates on the child's progress.

GGI Medical Fund

The GGI medical fund exists to raise financial aid and assistance to children from low-income families with specific unmet needs such as medical, dental, mental health, or any other conditions for which other resources are insufficient or nonexistent. Donations received in the medical fund are pumped right back into providing medical treatment such as Cancer Care, MRI Scanning, Mental Health Screenings, Dental Exams, Physical Exams, Medical supplies, Dietary needs of patients, etc. Current cases funded by the GIFT Medical fund include Cancer, Spina Bfida, Psychiatric Care, Reconstructive Surgeries for Domestic Violence Victims, etc.

Sports for Solar –
A Climate & Sports Initiative

We are bringing light to families who have been living without electricity for too long. Our Global Sports for Solar Campaign uses the World's Most Popular Sports to raise awareness and funds to provide solar powered lights to communities in the least developed areas of our planet. The population we serve faces complex barriers to accessing ladders of opportunity. Those same barriers are what keep them off teams, out of leagues, and unable to access programs that could support them to reach their full potential. Addressing one barrier alone is a band aid. Barriers stack up on one another and feel insurmountable.

There isn’t a better way to inspire children and create positive role models than to get them engaged in a sport. GGI’s partnership with sporting brands such as Babolat, Nike and many others allows us to bring sports to underserved children in the US, Africa, Asia and Mexico. At the end of the tournament, children who participate in the event go home with portable solar lights bringing light to their homes for the first time.

Meals on Wheels

GGI’s Meals on Wheels program is a service designed to provide warm meals to individuals who are unable to obtain food for themselves, often due to financial constraints, age, illness, disability, or other challenges. The program ensures children, seniors and other vulnerable individuals receive nutritious meals on a regular basis.

There are millions of children who would otherwise walk miles on empty stomachs to get to school. “There is nothing more disorienting and distracting than an empty stomach. You can’t learn if you’re hungry, our brain needs a regular supply of glucose and if it doesn’t get it the blood sugars start to drop and you won’t be able to concentrate,” said Manna Dabholkar, CEO GIFT Global Initiative.

Equine Assisted Trauma Healing

The Equine Trauma Healing Program was created to plan, develop, manage, and implement programs to provide Therapeutic Equine Experience to Children and Adults with disabilities, People with Financial Constraints and Veterans and members of the US Armed Forces. Our goal is to foster improvement in quality of life for children and adults with special needs and veterans and to serve these individuals without discrimination, including finances. Ultimately, we aim for 90% of these participants to make functional gains during their time in our programs.

Our Equine Therapy Trauma Healing program will use a novel approach in trauma healing known as the Bio-Well Method. With our Bio-Well technology, participants will get real-time reports & feedback on what factors - positive and negative - affect their stress and state of energy.

There are two components of trauma:

  1. First, there is a piece of the traumatic memory that lives in our brain. It’s what we call the “cognitive” piece of the trauma.

  2. There is a much less often addressed piece. It’s called the “energetic” piece.

Unlike the cognitive piece, which stores pieces of traumatic memory in our brain. Energetic trauma lives in our body. Bio-Well Trauma Healing is a complete approach to healing from trauma. Our stress levels impact how effectively we process trauma and grief and vice-a versa. The Bio-Well report will provide an accurate impression of their energy, stress levels, and the influence of different situations and stimuli.  Our team of psychotherapists and life coaches will work with the participants to create an action plan for their day-to-day transformation and trauma healing with the use of Equine Related Activities.

GGI Equine Assisted
After School Program

GGI Equine Assisted after school program provides a great and affordable introduction to horseback riding for young riders ages 6 to 12. During a typical session each child will have the opportunity to ride, groom, and help tack up. Riding and caring for horses provide a total body workout, builds self-confidence, and promotes self-control and responsibility. Riding is a sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. As with all riders, regardless of age or experience, safety is the most critical element of our programming, which involves a safety driven approach of growing student-horse interaction from zero at program start, up through full student riding independence, based on students graduating through program development requirements.

We provide students with a unique opportunity to engage with horses while developing essential life skills. Each session is designed to promote personal growth, teamwork, and responsibility, fostering a sense of community among participants. Through structured activities, students’ progress from basic horse handling to riding independence, all while adhering to rigorous safety protocols.

This program not only enhances equestrian skills but also boosts confidence, discipline, and problem-solving abilities. By integrating educational elements with hands-on experiences, our equestrian after school programs ensure that students leave with a well-rounded understanding of horse care and a deeper appreciation for the equine world.

GGI Bio-Wellness

With our Bio-Well technology, participants will get real-time reports & feedback on what factors - positive and negative - affect their stress and energy state. Our stress levels impact how effectively we process trauma and grief. The report will provide an accurate impression of their energy, stress levels, the influence of different situations and stimuli. Our team of psychotherapists and life coaches will work with the participants to create an action plan for their day-to-day transformation and trauma healing. Bio-Well is a revolutionary tool based on Electro-Photonic Imaging or Gas Discharge Visualization technique (Kirlian effect) made specially for express-assessment of the energetic state of a person. Interpretation of the scans is based on Acupuncture points concept, Ayurveda and many scientific and clinical research made throughout 20 years. It is fast, visual, reliable and easy to use.

Gift Green Initiative

Turning the planet green and rehabilitating a million hectares of land over the coming decades is a cornerstone of the GIFT Green Initiative. Educating children about Urban Agriculture, nurturing our planet and tree planting (afforestation) can improve air quality, reduce sandstorms, combat desertification, and lower temperatures in adjacent areas.

GGI Works – A Jobs Initiative

It's by focusing on creating prosperity that we can fix poverty.

Guided by our Philosophy, “Give a Man a Fish and you will feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” the aim of GGI Works is to create full employment across the communities we empower.

A sustainable jobs initiative will reduce entitlements, instead focusing on putting people into full-time work. GGI works with women from poor communities to develop a skill set which is then used to form a self-sustainable business, so these women can earn a respectful living income and gain their independence from foreign aid/ donations.

With each new place we add to GGI Works, we are one step closer to Ending Global Poverty. Thanks to microfinance and mentorship from supporters like you, women who once lived on the fringes of survival now own self-sustaining small businesses—running grocery stores, sewing, creating handcrafts, and more. They’re making a respectable income to feed, clothes, shelter and educate their children. And as loans are repaid, funds are used to provide loans for other women. Your gift keeps on giving and giving.
