The Pan-African Humanitarian Summit/Awards is an annual event conceived to identify pertinent issues in Africa with a view to providing a holistic and multi-dimensional approach to sustainable peace and development in Africa. The event draws the attention of policy makers and highly recognized leaders in various sectors of industry, government, business and humanity from different countries to identify the barriers to humanitarian issues, peace and social-economic development in Africa and provide effective and innovative ways of addressing such issues. Now celebrating its 5th year, having held previous editions in Accra, Ghana (2015); Dubai UAE (2016), Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania (2017) and Rabat (Morocco) with over 80 awardees and 5,800 participants from 43 different countries to include Former Heads of State, Policy Makers, Royalty, Investors, Celebrities as well as business leaders from within and outside Africa. This year's edition will draw the attention of policy makers and highly recognized leaders in various sectors of industry, government, business and humanity from 49 countries to discuss business opportunities to promote and support investment and sustainable development in Africa
